Games Clash Series announced with $200,000 prize pool
Games Clash has announced that it will host two international Counter-Strike events this year, both with $100,000 on offer.
After hosting just one Masters event in each of the last two years, Games Clash, an esports and gaming agency based in Poland, has decided to up the stakes and organise two competitions in a single calendar year.
The Games Clash Series will begin with an event in Gliwice from June 5-7 through a partnership with the Polish city and the Gliwice Arena, a modern multi-purpose arena that opened its doors in 2018. From September 11-13, international Counter-Strike will return to the Gdynia Arena, the venue that hosted the 2018 and 2019 Masters tournaments.

Both events will have eight teams, six invited and two determined by a two-stage qualifying process, the details of which will be announced at a later date.
The prize pool distribution for the two events is the following:
1. $50.000
2. $20.000
3-4. $10.000
5-6. $3.000
7-8. $2.000
Illuminar succeeded HEROIC as Games Clash Masters champion after beating Sprout to the title at last year's event, which also featured teams such as FURIA, Aristocracy and DreamEaters. In 2020, the official English broadcast will be done onsite, giving fans the chance to meet "other stars of the esports world", according to Games Clash.
