k23 tops WCG Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan found its representative for World Cyber Games 2009 this past weekend, as k23 topped the Kazakh qualifier.

The qualifier saw eight participating teams, playing in a best-of-three maps single elimination bracket. The qualifier determined which team would represent Kazakhstan at the 2009 World Cyber Games Grand Finals in Chengdu, China.

Going into the qualifier, k23 were high favorites to once again be the team to represent Kazakhstan. Coming out on top once again, k23 qualified for World Cyber Games 2009, by defeating A Team with a 2-0 map score in the overall final (16-6 on train and 16-12 on dust2).

k23 will join likes of fnatic, mousesports, Millenium, esq.wind, Power Gaming (former Crack Clan) and many more, at this year's World Cyber Games Grand Finals in Chengdu, China.

Team Aps have won them @ dd2 tside 11-4, and lose ct side 4-11, on a draw k23 win 21-19 it was hard match.It wasn't surprise, but aps is realy good!!!

That's prolly most because of well knowing their strats (same country, played bunch of times etc.), they couldn't take more than few rounds to a top team, imo. :) Anyway, gratz k23, expected.

You know your country better but Beast looked strong, many people thinks he is the best in Kazachstan after Borat, but I didnt saw Turbo, good to hear that k23 still is growing in power.

mmm... somth wtih beast was not good, he is not so stable as Turbo.I know zat in poland EX-WICKED is a "bulldozer" too =D.i would like to watch a match k23 vs EX-WICKED.Wicked will win, i'm interest how k23 will play with them)))
