#HomeSweetHome broadcast talent announced; BIG, Virtus.pro join team list

GRID Esports has announced the on-air talent lineup for the upcoming #HomeSweetHome online tournament series and an updated participants’ list featuring BIG and Virtus.pro.

The original schedule for #HomeSweetHome has been slightly adjusted, with the event now kicking off on April 7 with a six-day tournament week running through to April 12. Each subsequent week will host a tournament between Tuesday to Sunday until the final weekly competition, scheduled for May 26-31.

Each of the eight tournament weeks will begin with a 16-team group stage, with eight sides moving into the single-elimination playoffs. The weekly winners will take home $30,000, while the runners-up will get $10,000 - totalling the prize pool at $320,000.

BIG and Virtus.pro will compete in the online event

The Relog Media-produced event will feature three pairs of casters throughout the group stage: Kieran "Kieran" Cullinan & Teo "Oversiard" Siard, Mamoon "TeaTime" Sabri & Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg and Jamie "TheEternalJay" Martin & Joshua "Dweg" Nathan. Once the tournaments transition to the playoff stage, Mathieu "⁠Maniac⁠" Quiquerez and Vince "⁠Vince⁠" Hill will take the reins to headline the live commentary on the matches.

Why are so many of you complaining? There will not be any lan tournaments at least until september if you look at it realisticly. It's time to adapt and embrance these online tournaments. The alternative is no pro cs for a at least half a year.
