TeamOne withdraw from ESL One: Road to Rio - South America
TeamOne have announced that they are forfeiting their spot in the South American tournament of ESL One: Road to Rio due to concerns over coronavirus.
In a video posted on YouTube, TeamOne owner Alexandre "kakavel" Peres explained the decision was made after doctors advised the players against leaving their Las Vegas team house and travelling back to Brazil to compete in the tournament.
Mr. Peres added that the team will fight for a place at the ESL One Rio Major via the North American region, which has been allocated five qualifying slots (three Legends, one Challenger and one Contender).

TeamOne recently qualified for the ESEA MDL Global Challenge Season 33 after finishing in third place in the North American division. Initially scheduled for April, the event, where three spots in ESL Pro League Season 12 will be on offer, has been postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak.
ESL has not yet announced who will replace TeamOne in the $10,000 qualifying tournament, which will run from April 22-24. The list of participants currently looks as follows:
