Bad News Bears replace crashies with dazzLe

After concluding their Flashpoint 1 appearance under the FunPlus Phoenix banner, Bad News Bears have added Will "dazzLe" Loafman to take the place of Austin "crashies" Roberts.

According to Dust2.us, the 22-year-old elected to step down from the roster to instead focus on Riot Games' upcoming tactical shooter VALORANT, leaving Bad News Bears to search for a new player just one week ahead of their ESL One: Road to Rio appearance.

crashies had been a part of the Bad News Bears core since May 2019, helping the roster to make a grand final appearance in ESEA MDL Global Challenge Season 32 under Riot Squad, a first for a North American team. More recently, Peter "ptr" Gurney and company managed a playoff berth in Flashpoint 1 while playing under the FunPlus Phoenix banner, with crashies averaging a 0.90 rating before the team were eliminated in 7-8th place following losses to MAD Lions and Gen.G.

dazzLe has replaced crashies on Bad News Bears

dazzLe, formerly of eUnited, previously played alongside Michael "dapr" Gulino and Jonathan "Jonji" Carey on Singularity and New Identity, respectively.

He has been largely inactive since the North American Singularity roster was released in January following the restructuring of ESL Pro League, making his sole appearance as a part of New Patrol in the Americas Minor closed qualifier, in which he averaged a 0.93 rating.

With the change, Bad News Bears are:

United States Peter "ptr" Gurney
United States Mitch "mitch" Semago
Canada Jonathan "Jonji" Carey
United States Michael "dapr" Gulino
United States Will "dazzLe" Loafman

You do realize that valorant is going to be a bigger competitive platform than cs is right? Riot already has experience beating valve with LoL vs dota2.

No for now. I mean right now CS players feel like Gods in Valorant because it is the most mechanically similar game and also it's easier to shoot and move. It's pathetic how they all use 'Valorant PRO' while the game is in beta...

He could. So could oderus. So could TenZ. So could many others. NA talents are their own worst enemy because they are the most vocal against getting a shit fragging IGL that can bring structure that can take them to the next level. And you know what? HLTV agrees with them, but HLTV and the NA talents never piece together why they never make the next level. EU talents forge their own path by making smart decisions. They'll take a shit fragging IGL if it means he will improve their teamwork and co-hesion.

Valorant seems like a fun game, but "pursuing" a career in valorant is gonna fail for a lot of cs players. If they aren't top tier cs players why they be top tier valorant pros?

Best comment I've seen. Why do you think they picked up Dazzle? Because he's good? No. It's because he's played with them before. Friends picking up friends. It's the dumbest freaking thing ever. These pros would rather play with people they know than someone who might actually improve the team. I know Sneaky on Under 21. He is the best IGL in MDL but he may quit CS because he can't get a pro tryout. These teams mostly have 28 year old IGLs. They can't believe that a 20 year old might be better. It's such stupid thinking. That's why they never win.

Best IGL in MDL is either FNS if he ends up playing, Shakezullah, or steel. steel would be the defacto best if he didn't cripple his own reputation with the poor performance of this Chaos team. What is good about Sneaky's IGLing? I watched Under 21 demos and they play like the standard NA MDL team except they have exceptional skill
2020-04-16 20:16

What happened to their exceptional skill in Season 32, when they were 6-11 without him. Season 33 they were 16-2 with him. Shakezullah joined Triumph, no improvement. Besides that, Sneaky can actually shoot back. Put FNS or Shakezullah in a match against a pro team, they'll be lucky to get 10 kills. If Steel is so great, why is his team dysfunctional. Do you understand the purpose of an IGL? His job is to set up the best possible scenario to allow his team to get a man advantage.

"Shakezullah joined Triumph, no improvement" How are you measuring improvement? Their placing in MDL? Yeah, they didn't improve in that regard, but we have to wait to see the improvement. Imo, whether they improved or not will be determined at Global Challenge LAN when we see them. Going from 6-11 to 16-2 is great, but how consistent is that? I'd rather wait another season since that's all they got going for them. It's not like they're going to Global Challenge LAN, we won't be able to see them play against European team. steel's dysfunctional team would stomp Sneaky's functional team so I'm not sure how this is supposed to be an insult. Surely you don't think Under 21 would do even 1/3 of the shit Orgless, Bad News Bears, and Chaos did at Flashpoint. I sure don't. I have no reason to.

You have no clue what you're talking about. U21 beat Chaos 16-11 in season 33, and they also beat them multiple times in scrims. They also beat BNB. You way overrate the talent on those teams. And U21 had its roster in place for a whole three weeks before the start of the season, and Sneaky managed to put an entire structure in place in that short amount of time. He is a 200 IQ player whether you want to believe it or not.

VALORANT has nothing to do with SJWs and terrorists and everything to do with people having ADHD when it comes to their respective profession and feeling the need to jump ship at every "CS killer." They will be back. Most of them. crashies certainly will. I'm willing to bet money VALORANT is only going to go downhill from here.
