Then youre an idiot and dont understand weapon metas. There will always be a most valuable gun in a game with an economy system. The word balance is about the overall strength of the gun not the percent usage.

Garbage, you can't have 1 gun accounting for over 40% of kills and claim balance. There was equal impact between the main 3 rifles before recent changes and making the Aug viable could have made it 4 main rifles. Instead now we're back to 2 and one of them will disproportionately dominate the game again.

There was literally never equal balance because T side naturally has stronger weapons to balance the maps. I dont know when you mean by "before" but youre delusional. There was AUG meta which was unfun and easy and and then there was SG meta. Before that it was AK dominant because the AK is the strongest T rifle. Thats just how the game works. There is never going to be an equal distribution of SMGs/Shotguns/Multiple Rifles at the highest level of play The guns that can be used in the most variety of duels will always be chosen and skill maxed

You seem to not understand economy based games there will always be an objectively highest value item. The SG nerf brought balance to the meta the game shouldnt be based around a single gun and how many of them you can acquire

The game is now literally based around the AK-47. You're arguing directly against yourself there. Before the nerf there was equal use, now the AK is the gun the entire game is based on. The krieg was less that than the AK is now. If it weren't, it's use would have been significantly higher but the stats couldn't be clearer. Over 40% use vs an equal 20%. If a gun is insanely OP, as you claim, it would have an extremely high kill percentage. The only gun that fits that description is the AK.

You realize we literally had some of the best aimers in the game like Rain and Niko actively choose not to use it because they thought it was broken. It had nothing to do with the economy they simply didnt like the gun and didnt buy it when they could which 9/10 times is the same as when you can get AKS Again youre ignoring basic facts. Players have used the AK for 10 years its a staple for CSGO, people are reluctant to change so many didnt. If the Krieg had the same stay as the AK in CS:GO at that strength it would easily surpass the AKs current usage because players would be forced to adapt

Look at it this way. Imagine using the same tennis racket for 10 years, you get used to it, youre great with it, youve won championships with it. Now a slightly better racket comes out. You think every player is gonna switch within the first 6 months of it being out? No some will but some need to be proven, beaten by it, etc. After a while its just a given that its needed to be the best, but not at first

It was price way too low for what it did 300 for faster shots, a scope, better accuracy, and easier spray pattern lmao. The usage was even because a lot of players didnt choose to adapt. The ones that did at the highest level dominated That last part is just your opinion and not how 90% of the commuity/players/analysts felt about the gun. it was way too strong for its pricepoint hence overpowered

No If the Krieg meta would have lasted as long as the AK meta did and EVERY team adapted to it wed be seeing like 50%+ stats for the Krieg. The thing is a lot of teams didnt choose to change especially at lower tiers and some players were just too stubborn but if it had went for 8 years and people had it ingrained into their play it would have been used WAY more than the AK is now

Wow! Now you've shown that you actually have zero understanding of economy based games, that is absolutely plain wrong and there is zero evidence to support that claim. The AK was still an incredible gun and it's $300 cheaper and often that smoke is far more valuable than the upgrade. Also, some top teams had actually stopped buying it at all so it's possible its use may have dropped organically. Now I can see why you're so quick with the ad hominem attacks, it's so often the case that when someone opens by calling another an idiot, they're projecting.

If the meta had lasted longer and people were forced to adapt it would absolutely dominate the charts MUCH harder than the AK did. How do you explain Faze not using the Kreig nearly as much as other teams despite being aim based?
