ESL One: Road to Rio reaches playoffs in Asia and Oceania

ESL One: Road to Rio - Asia has hit the playoffs, with ViCi and TYLOO set to face off against each other in the semi-finals, while the Oceanian division's group stage was topped by Renegades, who are through to the grand final.

ViCi and TYLOO were both 2-0 ahead of their last ESL One: Road to Rio - Asia group stage matchday, looking to top Groups A and B, respectively. ViCi beat Beyond to make it to the semi-finals as the group's top seed, but TYLOO fell to D13 in their last series to set up a Chinese derby in the semis.

D13 beat Mazaalai and fell to Camel Riders before taking top seed in Group B over TYLOO, and will be joined on their side of the bracket by TIGER, who finished second in Group A behind ViCi with 2-0 victories over Lucid Dream and Beyond.

Down under it was Renegades who swept the ESL One: Road to Rio - Oceania group stage with 2-0 victories against all other competitors in the one-group tournament: Chiefs, ORDER and Ground Zero. ORDER managed to beat Chiefs in a three-map series and they will rematch for a spot in the grand final as both of them defeated Ground Zero, who fell out of contention as the last placed team in the group.
