DETONA complete roster with new trio

DETONA have completed the overhaul of their squad with the signing of three new players, the Brazilian organisation announced on Wednesday.

Brazilian veteran Renato "⁠nak⁠" Nakano takes over as the new in-game leader of the squad, which had been depleted to just two members following the departures of Filipe "⁠fp1⁠" Caires, Matheus "⁠Tuurtle⁠" Anhaia and André "⁠tiburci0⁠" Rossetto in recent months.

The 32-year-old, who had recently left RED Canids alongside Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau, will provide much-needed experience to DETONA, who brought Romeu "⁠zevy⁠" Rocco up from the organisation's academy squad, called DETONA Pound.

nak is DETONA's new IGL following tiburci0's departure

Rounding out the roster is another young Brazilian talent, Guilherme "⁠piriajr⁠" Barbosa, who impressed during his three-month tenure with Keyd Stars, averaging a 1.10 rating.

They won't reach any higher level

maybe will be good because zevy, nak will teach him and he will probably be in a good team after 2/3 years

Maybe nak will give the team the structure they need (he is a top3 IGL in South America) until tiburci0 comes back to the team. Plus, nak's stats have been pretty decent to be honest. i really like the thought process detona had to build this team

For sure. Most of it comes from the fact that both CSR and tiburco (owners of detona; the first is an ex-player) were just youtubers who grouped-un and started to grind together, so that explains why they always look for this "underground" players
