Yeah in talks with organizations to resolve conflict of interest

Yeah put out a statement claiming that they are in talks with organizations to resolve the conflict of interest involving them and three other organisations.

The conflict of interest issue first came to light in April, when MIBR and Yeah were set to compete in ESL One: Road to Rio, the first Regional Major Qualifier to be held. At the time, it became apparent that there were ties between the Yeah ownership and MIBR players, but the game was allowed to go ahead as Valve looked to promote multi-team ownership discussion before making a decision on the situation.

TACO and zews are a part of the ownership group of Yeah

The match ended 2-0 in favor of MIBR, with Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's team finishing the event 7-8th and earning 950 points, while Yeah finished 11th for 600 Major Ranking points. Ahead of the summer Regional Major Ranking events, Valve has given an ultimatum to teams with ownership conflict, demanding from them to resolve the conflicts before the Major. That means that today's elimination match between MIBR and Yeah can and will go on, despite the entanglement between the two parties.

To note the conflicts directly, MIBR's player Epitacio "TACO" de Melo and coach-manager Ricardo "dead" Sinigaglia are part of the ownership structure of Yeah, while FalleN was involved with the organization in the past. Outside of MIBR, FaZe's Marcelo "coldzera" David and Evil Geniuses' Wilton "zews" Prado are also involved in the project, with the Immortals Gaming Club (owners of the MIBR brand) having an option to "buy out at most two players from YeaH Gaming’s roster in a calendar year at an agreed-upon price."

Before the cs_summit 6 North America qualifier match between MIBR and Yeah, which will eliminate one of the two teams from the competition and leave them fighting for just 875 points available to the 5th placed team, Yeah put out a statement saying that the "conflict of interest are already being resolved", but that "despite the desire to solve this as quickly as possible", they are taking the time to find the best organization for their players.

The statement posted on YeaH's website is available in full below:

"Yeah Gaming informs that the issues addressed as conflict of interest are already being resolved. The deadline given by Valve for resolving the impasse is until November, and we are already in talks with some organizations.

"Despite the desire to solve this as quickly as possible, we are choosing the best organization to provide at least the same structure our players already have. We’ll be releasing new information, as soon as everything is resolved."

The cs_summit 6 North America Regional Qualifier lower-bracket match between MIBR and Yeah will take place at 22:00 . Other conflicts of interest yet to be resolved include Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund's involvement with Ninjas in Pyjamas and Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen's minority shares of ENCE.

It is mentioned in the article. IT is actually the full part of the article. This is third part of the story. The other two are linked in the story.

This Yeah roster lacks firepower, they also lack some chemistry, it's seenable, they are just a trash team, their results looks good but it's caused by the teams they are playing against - Triumph, Levitate, TeamOne, New England Whalers, it's not a success to win vs such a teams. I think the team should disband and all the problems are going to be fixed.
