BIG push GODSENT to lower bracket, set up fnatic meeting in upper semis at cs_summit 6
BIG have advanced further in the upper bracket of cs_summit 6 after a convincing victory over GODSENT, setting up an encounter with fnatic in the next round.
The Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend-led squad has dropped to the lower bracket and are set to face Ninjas in Pyjamas after they could not capitalize on their group stage success against what was looking like a peak-form BIG side, who never dropped the lead throughout the series as they clinched convincing wins on Dust2 and Overpass.
BIG started off Dust2 looking dominant at a 6-0 lead as Terrorists, but just when the phrase "this is looking like another speedrun" was uttered by Jason "moses" O'Toole during a 3v2 scenario that looked firmly in the Germans' hands, GODSENT turned it around off Jesse "zehN" Linjala's Deagle double and began to contest the opening half of the series.

By the end of it, the European mix clawed back to just a three-round deficit off a second key clutch from zehN and a triple from Pavle "Maden" Bošković over on the A bombsite, and when they also picked up a pistol round victory just one round separated the two teams. All that effort from GODSENT was all for naught, though, because they gave up an anti-halfbuy round as BIG reached double digits, and Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz's team never looked back, rallying to a 16-9 win.
Overpass kicked off much in the same way as Dust2 had, with the favorites conceding just one round in the first eight as they kept GODSENT in a headlock with great map control. It wasn't until Maden stepped up with a 1v2 clutch that the European side found some room to breathe, with a triple from the Montenegrin and another clutch from zehN putting them just three rounds away again.
But just like on the opening map, BIG didn't let their opponents keep their momentum after sides switched, with tabseN maintaining amazing form from the first half and ensuring a swift closing after running over GODSENT on the defense.
