TYLOO take lead in Asia RMR following PAL Summer victory
The Chinese giants are well-positioned to reach this year's Counter-Strike Major after winning the Summer RMR tournament.
TYLOO have moved up to first in the Asian Regional Major Rankings (RMR), the qualification system for this year's Counter-Strike Major, after beating fellow Chinese side Invictus to the Perfect World Asia League Summer 2020 title on Sunday.
With this victory, TYLOO added 2000 points to the 1500 they had picked up by finishing second in the previous RMR tournament, ESL One: Road to Rio, and now have a 400-point lead over ViCi, who are second in the region's rankings. This means that, unless a roster change occurs, they will need only to finish third in the next RMR tournament to assure themselves of a spot at the Major.

Mongolian side TIGER, who won the first Asian RMR tournament, dropped down to third in the ranking after a disappointing quarter-final exit in PAL Summer, which netted them just 1312.5 points. They are now trailing TYLOO by almost 600 points and only a miracle will see them qualify for the Major.
Below you can find the latest RMR rankings:
1.
TYLOO - 3500 points (Contender spot)
2.ViCi - 3100 points
3.TIGER - 2912.5 points
4.Beyond - 2575 points
5.D13 - 2130 points
6.Divine Vendetta - 2072.5 points
7.Invictus - 1875 points
8.Lucid Dream - 1312.5 points
9.Mazaalai - 920 points
The Fall RMR tournament, which will also be hosted by Perfect World, will have the following RMR points distribution:
1. 2500
2. 2344
3. 2188
4. 2031
5-8. 1640.75
