Complexity through to DreamHack Open Summer playoffs over OG

Complexity won two close maps against OG, Nuke (16-14) and Mirage (16-13), to take the top DreamHack Open Summer Europe Group B seed into the playoffs.

Complexity and OG’s last matchup dates back to the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Finals playoffs, where they clashed in the upper bracket quarter-final. The three-map series back then ended up going the way of William "RUSH" Wierzba and company with Benjamin "blameF" Bremer putting forth a stellar performance.

This time around Complexity were again able to get the best of OG in two close maps to secure the best seed on their side of the playoff bracket, while OG will have to go up against FORZE in the Group B decider match for a spot in the playoffs.

Complexity got off to a flying start on the CT side of Nuke, OG’s map pick, taking a 4-0 lead before a clutch 1vs2 play by blameF in an afterplant situation on the A bombsite kept the American-European combine plowing ahead. From there on out Complexity established superiority, uncontested until the twelfth round when OG managed to get on the board with a fast play down on the B site. The terrorists then found themselves on the B site again the following round, making it 2-11 before winning the last two rounds of the half to bring it to 4-11.

Issa "ISSAA" Murad dropped three in the second pistol round as OG started to bridge the gap with Complexity after the anti-ecos as doubles by ISSAA and Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså brought it to 8-11. The game got tied up on the 24th round and the map ended up going all the way, but it was finally Valentin "poizon" Vasilev who was able to shut OG down in the last round with four AWP kills to win it 16-14 and take the series lead.

poizon ended the series against OG with a 1.39 rating

Complexity were once again first out of the gate on Mirage, winning six out of the seven first rounds, but OG were quick to bounce back this time around, linking a staggering eight rounds in a row on the defense to lock down the half and lead 9-6 before switching sides.

A team ace by OG kept them ahead early on in the second half, but Complexity were able to win the forcebuy to get right back into the game. After five rounds the American-European combine got ahead, 11-10, but it was OG who started to inch close to winning the map, 13-10, to push the series into the decider map. Complexity had different ideas, however, standing their ground and retaking the lead all the way to a 16-13 victory to close out the series and secure a DreamHack Open Summer playoff appearance.

-nbk or issaa tbh, aleksib is doing his job and mantuu is performing well considering his age and prior experience. And I think valde usually shows up guess this was an off game for him.

Actually, no. Lekr0 is IGL, while OG already have one - aleksib, so I don't why you want to kick nbk.

#48 Support isn't a role for a player. Everyone should be able to support his teammates with flashes or smokes.

When this team has great IGL Aleksib they can sometimes beat teams with better firepower. However after all it may guarantee them a top 15 team but still no title can be won with this roster. I know some fans just want to see them beat ENCE but it's too easy LUL

Complexity have potential, but without small changes I don't think this roster will work out. It's excatly the same for OG.
