Global Challenge Chengdu stats

The second Global Challenge of the fourth Extreme Masters season ended this weekend, seeing SK Gaming winning the Grand Final against fnatic. We now bring you the statistics from the event, who topped?

The event saw several great upsets and a lot of intense Counter-Strike. We are now ready to show you the statistics from the event. SK Gaming might have won the event, but it was a different team on top of the charts. The other participant in the Grand Final, Swedish team fnatic, is however not the top team of the qualifier either, instead wNv.cn take the top spot. For once even Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund was passed for the K/D award, just beaten by P1rate who tops player statistics in K/D.

Interestingly the Chinese players really shine on the K/D stats, but as teams they did not go as far as the Europeans. The Chinese players also took home the Top AWP, Top PR K/D, Top Fragger and Top Rifler awards.

Made in Brazil took home 75% of their gunrounds, but that was not enough to get them past the groupstage. For mibr, cogu really fell through, and underperformed in both matches.

Make sure to check out all the stats yourself for a complete overview of the Global Challenge in Chengdu.

*Update* the numbers are now correct.

Yeah I bet, but we don't see them as much, only in events where they play at home, and when these come up it's always in god damn moments that I can't watch so I don't really know what they are capable of :((((

Sorry, was a mistake with GeT_RiGhT's stats, they are correct now, and P1rate is top player.

Mainly due to the group stages, wNv won 28 rounds vs SC... Anyways just disregard the toplists and there are still interesting stats to be found.. :)

totally true, and also when you beat a team with 28-2. biggest shock is that GeT_RiGhT didn't win anyway. best player in 2009 by far.

top fragger = xf. :) xf is emerging as the biggest rising star in china right now. key player in matches that saw they beat fnatic and mouz. could have beat sk if tb didn't pull out that knife in pistol round. Expect him to do major damage at upcoming WCG.

If the Chinese played as many international events a year, as the Euro's, then i could see them being the best in the world.
