HONORIS part ways with STOMP

The Polish AWPer will hold off on making a decision about his future and doesn't rule out the possibility of playing for an international team.

HONORIS are down to four players after releasing Daniel "⁠STOMP⁠" Płomiński from the active roster, the Polish organisation announced on Thursday. The 25-year-old joined HONORIS in May after spending three months on Illuminar's bench and averaged a 1.10 rating while playing for the team, headlined by veterans Filip "⁠NEO⁠" Kubski and Wiktor "⁠TaZ⁠" Wojtas.

But despite his best efforts, HONORIS were unable to click and failed to achieve any worthy event placements, even failing to qualify for the ESL Polish Championship after losing to Gaminate in the closed qualifier.

STOMP is in search of a new challenge

"We played together for almost half a year and unfortunately it didn't work out, continuing this journey didn't make any sense to me," STOMP told HLTV.org. "We tried different solutions but the outcome was always the same. For me, it was a new experience and of course, I wish them luck in the future. It's time to move on, let's see what the future brings. Right now, I'll focus more on streaming part and self-development until I receive an interesting offer.

"I'm hungry to win like never before. I won't give up and I'll be looking for an interesting project. There are still many things to achieve and I'm more than sure that I can bring a lot of quality to a team, either in Poland or as part of an international team."

HONORIS have no new events on the horizon and are now looking to test more players to fill the vacant AWPing role on the roster. With STOMP's exit, the team now have:

As far as I understand he was a contract worker for some shipyard. That does not mean that he knows english unfortunately. On the other hand I am not sure, so not gonna argue on this one.

dont know if any of you read the hltv confirmed podcast segment with taz earlier this week, taz explicitly said they are going to restructure the team. taz and neo take all blame for the failure of the current roster. they trialed/are trialing more polish players and they even said that they also consider neo or taz to switch to coaching role in this team (in case it makes more sense role-wise). the main goal of honoris is to develop younger polish players and give them experience in a t1-t3 team environment. i'm all for the taz and neo memes but what he said in the podcast actually sounded reasonable, maybe you should watch/listen to it

Its so sad taz holds grudges for a long time, he stopped talking with all of vp, its funny because he stopped talking to loord and then vp kicks him he asks loord his coach in his new team. Now he doesnt talk to anyone but neo? Pretty sure it took a while to even talk to neo again. Correct me if I'm wrong. Loord wasn't even at taz wedding and besides neo all vp that was at his wedding he doesnt talk to now, seems so fake and miserable.

maybe. To be honest there will be many free spots in awper role. C9, Fpx and propably 100thiefs and Mousesports (both need better awper), and there is only 3 nice free awpers : stomp, Guardian and smooya (but all of them re not t1 sniper)

He was ok, but I don't think he was anything special, I don't think he will get an offer from a good team. However I understand his decision to leave HONORIS. Now I think the best option is to disband completely, or maybe buid a new lineup around reiko but I would prefer disbandment, this team has got no future at all.
