x6tence bench HECTOz ahead of DreamHack Open Fall Closed Qualifier

The team's coach Morten "⁠zEVES⁠" Vollan Christensen will step into the starting lineup for the Regional Major Tournament tournament qualifier.

x6tence have announced that their AWPer Hector "⁠HECTOz⁠" Jensen has been removed from the active lineup shortly before their match against SJ in the Dreamhack Open Fall Closed Qualifier, with the coach zEVES going back to the player role until they figure out their roster situation.

The Spanish organization explained that HECTOz was moved to "the sixth player position" due to "certain discrepancies" and that they are currently evaluating their options.

HECTOz averaged a 0.98 rating from 38 maps played for x6tence

More changes seem to be coming for the team, as according to a report from DBLTAP on September 15, MAD Lions were looking to purchase x6tence's Rasmus "⁠HooXi⁠" Nielsen and Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali. A more recent article from the same publication also linked Copenhagen Flames duo Daniel "⁠mertz⁠" Mertz and Marcus "⁠maNkz⁠" Kjeldsen to x6tence.

Where HECTOz's future lies remains to be seen, but with their coach stepping in, the team ranked 38th in the world will have a tough time making it through the 16-team DreamHack Open Fall Closed Qualifier, as only the five best squads will advance to the main event.
