XANTARES signs new contract with BIG

The former Space Soldiers star has committed his future to the German team ahead of the ESL Pro League Season 12 playoffs.

BIG player Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş has signed a new contract that will keep him on the current No.5 team in the world until the end of 2021, it was announced on Monday.

The Turkish player has been an integral part of the team since his arrival from Space Soldiers in December 2018. He has averaged a 1.15 rating for the German team, who spent eight weeks at No.1 in the rankings in the summer after a dominant run that saw them win DreamHack Masters Spring and cs_summit 6 before the player break.

XANTARES will continue to play for BIG through 2021

"Together with the #BIGFamily, who I joined back in 2018, we have achieved great success in 2020," XANTARES said. "I am delighted to announce our decision to extend my contract. I have no doubt that – together with all your support – my team and I are going to do the best we can to continue with all our success in 2021."

The announcement of XANTARES' contract extension comes as a timely boost for BIG, who will take on Spirit on Tuesday in the first round of the ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe playoffs. The German team finished the round-robin stage with a 5-2 record, silencing their critics after bombing out of ESL One Cologne in last place.

Here in hltv you can check the stats. All these „simple repeater“ should do this if they don’t want to humiliate themselves like simple. His LAN ranking in 2016 was better as his online.
