FunSpark ULTI LAN postponed until 2021
The $300,000 event which was scheduled to take place this December in China has been moved to early next year due to the pandemic and travel suspension issues.
FunSpark ULTI was officially postponed to 2021, with January 30 - February 8 the new provisional dates for the tournament.
The tournament plans to bring teams such as FURIA and Chaos to China, with the postponement not coming as a surprise. In July, when the tournament was unveiled, a representative of the FunSpark ULTI told HLTV.org that they would only "host the LAN when it's safe for international players to travel to China again" .

Since the tournament's announcement this summer, the European, North American, and Asian qualifiers have all been played out. FORZE, HAVU, Chaos, and Wings Up all earned spots at the eight-team event, with FURIA and TYLOO joining the list as invited teams.
The team list for the event currently looks as follows:
With FunSpark ULTI postponed, the IEM Global Challenge which ESL plans to hold in Cologne this December remains the first international LAN event to look forward to, while BLAST Premier Fall and Flashpoint 2 should see intercontinental matchups played out during October and November, albeit online, as North American teams bootcamp on the Old Continent.
