SpawN set for return?

Former SK Gaming star Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed appears to be all set to reverse his retirement decision.

The Swedish veteran decided to hang up his mouse in September 2008 upon being replaced by Marcus "zet" Sundström at SK, having acted as a stand-in for Blank at the Extreme Masters III Finals several months later.

Mohamed signed an endorsement deal with with ZOWIE GEAR in July, and he has been very busy promoting the American-based company's products. He is currently making a promotional tour in Asia along with Vitriolic star Filip "Neo" Kubski.

The ex-NiP player has been linked with a return to activity for the past months, and he has now confirmed he will soon link up with a team.

"He [Neo] is a great friend of mine and old rival, soon to be my rival again as soon as I make my return to Counter-strike!," Mohamed said on his personal blog.

With H2k-Gaming still having nothing but temporary additions, could Mohamed be one of the players to join? Stay tuned to HLTV.org to find out.

I have the same feeling lol.... I've been a SK fan since it was the so called dream team, since pott1 & heaton times. When SpawN joined SK i couldn't stop watching SK's demos and things. SpawN is still good, didnt u see how he last time played @ tournament with mix about 9month ago?! Insane! So sceptics about YO DA EUROPES SKILL IS WAY BETTER THEN HIM.. thats a bull he never left cs, he just dont play it very active like in organisation, but he still play mixes how he said himself, so he is still in good shape!

SpawN's comeback is going to become the biggest comeback disaster.......... and he will be forced to consider retirement again(:-)) by new age monsters like. ne0 > get_right> f0rest >face > khrystal etc SpawN used to be an average player earlier, but now he will be thrashed by all Take my words if he makes a comeback, all spawn fans will be in for a G-Shock(:-))

fisker was the smartest player in cs... his way of playing cs was so amazing, he was very smart and strategic

I think spawn won't be the greatest anymore. There are so many talents (khrystal, gtr, face, threat, etc.) who will just replace his old position and he will definitely have more skilled rivals than neo. Neo was good when he was "hot" (in PGS) now in vitriolic he isn't anymore the same, I mean vitriolic wouldn't stand a chance against fnatic and/or SK. Spawn will wonder how the scene has changed (of course he observed the teams, maybe better than we do, but he hasn't felt what it was like to perform in a top team, since he went inactive). Anyway gl spawn
