WCG group draw postponed

The World Cyber Games commitee has confirmed the group draw for this year's World Finals has been held over to Monday.

The South Korean-based organisation had announced it would disclose the official seeding distribution today, with the group draw for all the competitions due to start on Wednesday morning.

However, it has been confirmed that the group draw has been postponed to Monday due to the fact the WCG commitee is waiting for the results from some national qualifiers that have yet not taken place.

As such, the seeding distribution and the map rotation will both be announced on Monday, 19 October, with the Counter-Strike group draw being made on the same day.

-they can just put in the mixing pots the flag of the country, name of the clan is not a must...it`s wcg right? -so, in my opinion, the delay is because of something else :D

-lol we all know what teams can progress in each country -seeding is not required for countries such as india...no offence to indians :D -anyway i`m sure u got my point

ostponed to Monday due to the fact the WCG commitee is waiting for the results from some national qualifiers that have yet not taken place.

I was also in a dilemma when the news came about the group draw as the WCG India national qualifiers are not through till now. There are speculations about it going to be held this weekend 16-18th. Sad part is that in cs there is just a single qualifier to be held in Mumbai, which is also the Grand Finals, so most of the gamers will be left out of this event.

I wonder if it is so coz blur cafe's website shows that they don't entertain cs 1.6, don't know if exceptions being made. Overall WCG India has been a fail this time, its the only big international event India has now and it has gone worse than last year.

no big dal id rather see proper groups without the major group of death having two possible winners in the same group with this many teams there has to be 1 group of death regardless
