Funspark RIVALS announced with $30,500 in prizes
The pre-season tournament taking place in December and January will feature 18 Asian teams, with a European division to be announced.
Funspark has announced a new three-stage tournament taking place on December 14-January 15, featuring a ~$30,500 prize pool and 18 Asian teams including the likes of TYLOO, TIGER and Invictus. The Chinese TO has announced there will also be a tournament for the European region but has not yet revealed its details.

The event will kick off its first stage with 16 teams divided into four best-of-three round-robin groups, from which the top teams will advance to the playoffs and the second-placed teams will play a decider map that will see the winners through to the playoffs as well.
The second phase will be another group stage, this time two best-of-three double-elimination GSL groups with four teams apiece, from which the top two teams will advance to the last stage of the event.
The final hurdle, the playoffs, will feature a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three matches played the whole way through until one team is crowned champion.
The team list is the following:
The Chinese TO have also announced that their $300,000 Funspark ULTI LAN, which was postponed in October, remains without date as of now due to the ongoing wave of the coronavirus.
