The Finnish organisation says that it is currently evaluating the situation together with the team.

ENCE have issued a statement to address the chaotic situation of their CS:GO team in the aftermath of Monday's 'HLTV Confirmed' episode with Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli. The Finnish organisation says that it is currently "processing the situation" after the 28-year-old's comments sparked a chain reaction that exposed deep issues in the squad.

allu commented on a variety of topics, including the August 2019 removal of then in-game leader Aleksi "⁠Aleksib⁠" Virolainen and the team's struggles ever since that controversial move. He recognised that the team "removed the wrong player" but said that he should not be vilified for the decision, which, he stressed, was not made by him alone.

allu also revealed that Jere "⁠sergej⁠" Salo, who stepped down from ENCE last month to start his military service, had been struggling with motivation issues for a while and that the team took a month-long break in the spring to help the youngster get comfortable again.

ENCE took blame for not understanding the team's issues

While the show was still running, sergej took to Twitter to dispute allu's account of some of the events that were discussed. The 18-year-old said that allu's personality is "not as simple and harmless" as it might seem and that "there's a reason why" his former teammate is the only remaining member of ENCE's original lineup. sergej added that he will not comment on this matter anymore "because it's a mental health thing" and that old teammates can back up his claims.

Sami "⁠xseveN⁠" Laasanen, who left the team in August, quickly retweeted sergej's post, but it wasn't just former ENCE players who appeared to challenge allu's comments. Miikka "⁠suNny⁠" Kemppi said that allu spoke the "truth but not the whole truth", adding that he felt "betrayed" while watching the show as his teammate did not explain "why the leadership was given to me."

With no events on the horizon until March and only a four-man roster, ENCE are now left with the difficult task of putting their house in order, with the team currently sitting 34th in the world ranking - the lowest they have been since June 2018.

"We take full responsibility for not understanding the severity of the existent problems," the Finnish organisation said. "We wish for patience as we internally evaluate the situation with our CS:GO team.

"We will give you an update as soon as we conclude our next steps."

nrly ENCE is probably Jamppi's biggest team he'll ever play in and the other guy can still prove himself. I feel bad for the guys from the old squad Aerial - mental health fucked, got manipulated quite a bit xseven - joined havu (#101 currently) likely not gonna go higher than that in his career sergej - super talented kid, dropped off a cliff in 2020, joined the fucking military likely giving up cs as a whole These guys reached the finals of a major in spectacular fashion, took down Astralis' nuke streak yet it all came crashing down because of allu and ENCE's dog shit management

How it is understood today, from what we know and some creative thinking we can say when aleksib was in the team there were 2 camps in the team, 1 consiting of allu and sergej and the other consisting of xseven and aerial and then there is aleksib, as the glue holding the team together in between the 2 camps. sergej didn't like some of allu's decisions which led him to jump ship shortly after aleksib removal.

aleksib wasn’t a bad fragger at all in 2019 considering how much he brings as an igl, he’s basically hunden but with lots more firepower hltv.org/stats/players/9816/aleksib?star.. the only other tier 1 igls which had a 1.0+ rating for all of 2019 were nitr0 (1.04), gla1ve (1.06), stanislaw (1.01) and alex (1.01). nexa and boombl4 doesn’t count since they spent half the year or more in lower tier teams and were not igl until they joined g2 and navi respectively considering aleksib was only tactically worse than gla1ve, i think he was definitely a top 3 igl in 2019 1. gla1ve 2. nitr0 3. aleksib 4. alex 5. stan

Sunny poor performance can easily be explained by bad leadership, structure, mentality and usage in current roster. Look at the performances of all old ence players with aleksi and compare them to their stats almost immediately following aleksi. Now consider this, you have a bad IGL who doesn't understand the game/tempo of the game and he's a dictator demanding perfect following of strats that he doesn't even call correctly, then gets upset with you that you didn't follow.... Can be really easy to second guess everything you do and look like a fool everytime you die. Especially when you consider that an IGL may not be signing your paychecks but he certainly is your "boss" so to speak, because remember, these guys do this as a job and get paid.

If you were to look at ratings/results alone, your explanation might be valid, but my judgement on his performance draws from individual, awful decision-making. Just speculating. Theire going to give allu a new role outside of roster because of the outside pressure. This will change nothing in the long tern. I can see his value as a player, but I think the current management doenst want to admit the true problem in the team..

Unfortunately ENCE in fact IS allu, natu, sunny, lurppis, miqaqu and a few others, so they are highly unlikely to fire themselves. ENCE are merely masquerading as a legitimate organization, when it's just an old friends' sauna club who can't run shit unless the team itself just happens to work well.

When watching the podcast I found allu's statements to be honest and in no way contriversial but yet these former ence players go out making statements like angry children. It's true the Finnish cs is completely destroyed, but I wouldn't say allu was the one who destroyed it, we have to remember allu didn't kick aleksib ence did. as for the English, it's true he has been on many international teams before, but that doesn't mean he "knows English perfectly" in cs u don't need English as much as u would need it to flawlessly escape from a situation like that. Yes it is more dead than NA CS which makes me happy. And honestly I think he is a core part as of why, think of him as Snax for VP. Sure Snax didn't single handedly kill Polish CS but he clearly had a important hand in it. And kicking Aleksib is something that Allu also clearly had a hand in. No reason for ENCE to kick him, and yet he was kicking, and Allu became the IGL. It is clear that internal divisions are why Aleksi was kicked. No I'm pretty sure he should know English far better than someone like GuardiaN would, and GuardiaN speaks prefect fluent english. I'd recommend listening to some old comms from the NiP days with Allu, he speaks pretty much perfect english and they fuck around a lot, they say much more than just simple callouts or tactics, and that was like 5 years ago, I'm sure it has improved even more now. We get enough info to know that Allu is much more menacing than initially perceived, and that he clearly has a hand in the roster changes and the motivational issues of the team. The real question is how much. We know more about Allu's leverage over ENCE better than we know NiKo's leverage over FaZe, and yet everyone says NiKo ruined FaZe, so why not the same for Allu? Ever heard of unconscious bias? You may not realize it but everyone will have preferences and that will shape your judgment. Ok

I completely agree with this. It is becoming ever clearer that allu used the leverage of his status as a veteran and an owner of the team to get aleksib kicked. The largest sports podcast in Finland reported that this process began very early, even during the Katowice major run. Other stuff they've heard would qualify as workplace harassment. Would fit the picture too, since the members of the original lineup are getting leveled by mental health/motivation problems. I'm happy that HAVU has a decent lineup now. There's at least one Finnish team that can excel. But it does seem this man's cunning, combined with the weak leadership of the executives in ENCE, has decimated our scene for some time to come.

im happy ence is disbands for sure. aleksib makes player no name like sergej ,arial and xseven looks good and that's really good punishment for their management player . impactful player like aleksib its barely insane to found , if ence still standing with aleksib they can like astralis from losing streak to 4 times major winner . OG have system like that now if you have problem with team just continue (no need bench or betray someone) OG management so good for aleksib who trust his teamates has team.
