KHRN retires from CS:GO
The 31-year-old player that was a part of the first Finnish team to attend a CS:GO Major steps away from competitive play.
Jesse "KHRN" Grandell has decided to leave professional CS:GO behind, his organization SJ has announced on Twitter on Saturday. The veteran player competed in the game since Counter-Strike 1.6, but his biggest achievement comes from the new version of the game.
Playing alongside notable Finnish names such as Mikko "xartE" Välimaa and Joona "natu" Leppänen, he managed to qualify for ESL One Katowice 2015 with 3DMAX, becoming the first team from their country to attend a Major.

Later in his career, KHRN also represented HAVU, where he played with Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen and Jere "sergej" Salo and managed a short stint in the top 30, as well as iGame.com. For the last two years, he has been a member of SJ, playing alongside another young Finnish talent in Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen until he joined ENCE.
SJ is now down to just one player, Tony "arvid" Niemelä, after the veteran Finnish player revealed that he will no longer compete in the game. Over the last month, it was announced that Tuomas "SADDYX" Louhimaa was sold to an undisclosed team, Jemi "jemi" Mäkinen joined HAVU, and Topi "LYNXi" Kauppi's contract wasn't renewed after running out.
