JUGi to stand in for Complexity at BLAST Premier Global Final

The Dane will take over the AWP for Complexity as Valentin "⁠poizon⁠" Vasilev remains on the injured list.

Jakob "⁠JUGi⁠" Hansen will join his countrymen Benjamin "⁠blameF⁠" Bremer and Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke in Complexity next week, as he has been called in to compete with the team at BLAST Premier Global Final.

The Dane will take over AWPing duties from poizon, who had to miss IEM Global Challenge, the last event of 2020, following an emergency surgery, and remains in recovery.

JUGi will stand in for Complexity at the BLAST Global Final

This stint as a stand-in will mark JUGi's return to top competition for the first time since mid-2020, when he played DreamHack Masters Spring and BLAST Premier Spring Series with Astralis. His only other recorded matches since are a pair of OGA Counter Pit series with Secret in November.

Complexity will kick off their BLAST Premier Global Final run on Wednesday, January 20th, facing off against Vitality in the first round of upper bracket matches.

I always liked jUGI, when he joined Astralis as a stand-in I thought that would be the moment he would show how good he is, and literally thought that what happened with es3tag was what was gonna happen with jUGI, but unfortunately it didn't and since then he hasn't played for any team. I really hope this time jUGI just pops off and shows how good he can be to show everyone that he's a capable awper that can be part of any Tier 1 team.
