x6tence and the Danish players that plied their trade for the Spanish organization in the second half of last year have parted ways following the conclusion of the OneTap League 2020 Finals, where they lost to Movistar Riders in the grand final.

The Danish squad's future had been in doubt since the beginning of the month, as it had been cut down to just three players, Jesper "⁠TENZKI⁠" Plougmann, Daniel "⁠mertz⁠" Mertz and Jonas "⁠Queenix⁠" Dideriksen after Marcus "⁠maNkz⁠" Kjeldsen and Magnus "⁠Nodios⁠" Olsen returned to Copenhagen Flames, the team they had been bought out from last year.

The Spanish organization has now revealed it plans on taking a step back from the international stage and will instead work on developing local talent after fielding Argentine and Danish squads in 2020.

x6tence cut ties with the remaining players in its Danish squad

x6tence’s original Danish roster, signed in June of 2020, peaked at No. 36 last September and competed at cs_summit 6 Europe, where they finished in 13-16th place, but after benching Hector "⁠HECTOz⁠" Jensen and losing Rasmus "⁠HooXi⁠" Nielsen and Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali to MAD Lions, the squad wasn’t able to reach the same heights, falling short in several DreamHack Open Europe qualifiers and competing uneventfully in a handful of Nine to Five cups.

“This decision is part of x6tence's objective to reinforce community values and closeness with its fans, as well as with the detection of national talent that our organization, a historical reference in Valve's shooter, has always shown," the Spanish organization stated, "which leads us to recover our essence and to bet on the latent talent at the base of our country.”

back in 2020 when some players left GIANTS, there were some rumors that GIants were in talks with Meyern to join the portuguese line-up but it never happened, and Giants/x6tence have a shit load of money so they can def get that team and still pay them well

X6 did a moronic move by picking CPH without Farlig just in hopes to see if they could somehow keep their first RMR performance and qualy to the major (something that in the end wouldn't even have mattered). After losing Refresh to Mad Lions, they were basically doom. Who knows how much € this cost them if they're stepping away from CS (Developing Spanish talent is basically that)
