The international team extended their unbeaten streak in the tournament with another strong display.

MOUZ are the first team through to the semi-final stage of cs_summit 7 following a 2-0 victory over FURIA. After topping their group in convincing fashion, the international team produced another display full of character as they made light work of their opponents on Nuke - a one-sided affair from the outset - before recording a close win on Inferno, with Frederik "⁠acoR⁠" Gyldstrand delivering his best performance since joining the team, with a series-high 27 AWP kills and a 1.21 rating.

Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen's troops made a flying start to the game on Nuke as they had FURIA's players against the ropes for the entirety of the first half, which ended with a lopsided 12-3 scoreline. Yuri "⁠yuurih⁠" Santos was at the centre of the action after the break as he helped his team to show some signs of life during the early stages, even clutching a 1v2 situation. Celebrations would be short-lived, however, as MOUZ quickly regained their footing and wrapped up the game.

Things didn't look much better for FURIA at the start of Inferno as they could not capitalise on their round victories, but then they grew into the game and enjoyed a spell of dominance. After looking like they had run out of gas, MOUZ woke up and dictated the pace for the remainder of the half, with in-game leader karrigan sitting at the top of the scoreboard with 17 frags to his name and a 118 ADR.

FURIA came out of the break looking lively and secured the first three rounds of the half to restore parity at 9-9. The game then entered a scrappy phase as neither team could stamp their authority on proceedings, with Vinicius "⁠VINI⁠" Figueiredo keeping his team in the game with two key multi-kills on the B site. His efforts would be in vain, though, a MOUZ picked up the pace in the final stages of the half to prevent overtime or a third map.
