Vitriolic and Virtus.pro face each other on the stage here in Dubai, turning out to be one to watch.
The Polish team went to lead 8-7 at half time, after finishing a fair T side on inferno. Second half with Virtus.pro as T, things went back and forth, especially when the Russians armed themselves with deagles. It came down to the 30th round, where Vitriolic with clutch play, brought home a narrowed win at 16-14.
Vitriolic are now placed second in Group B, holding nine points. Virtus.pro currently takes third place, with six points. Kazakh side k23 are currently playing IMPULSE and with three points to them in that match, will bring them on level with the Russians.
Virtus.pro will be up against mousesports in their next match, while Vitriolic only have one match left, which is against IMPULSE. SK Gaming also has to play their last match of the day, when facing k23.
