The last participant for the Grand Final at Global Challenge Dubai has been found as fnatic defeats SK Gaming 2-0 in the semifinal.
It was a matter of fnatic finding the play they usually deliver in the playoffs, when facing SK Gaming in the semifinal. SK Gaming had been performing well since their victory in Chengdu, but had a small hiccup yesterday, losing to k23 in the group stage.
It was a very different team fnatic that entered the semifinal and on the other side of the stage, SK Gaming looked really poor. SK Gaming was punished over and over again, starting T on train. First half saw fnatic taking a strong 14-1 lead, with great play from all five individuals.
Moving to nuke, fnatic once again executed a strong T side, as we saw it in Chengdu. A 10-5 score was secured and SK Gaming really had to kick it in to a whole other gear, to turn the match around. No such thing came about, as fnatic with a won pistol-round as CT continued to dominate their countrymen. Taking six straight rounds, fnatic grabbed the second spot in the Grand Final, by finishing off SK Gaming 2-0.
In the Grand Final fnatic will have the opportunity to seek revenge against MYM, who defeated fnatic in the group stage match between the two. The third place match between Vitriolic and SK Gaming will be up next, set to start at 14:30CET, while the Grand Final is scheduled for 17:15CET.
fnatic looked very strong, especially on de_train. going to be a fabulous final. MYM are looking to be in top form, but fnatic seem to have very strong finishing form in the latter part of this tournament. Should be an interesting finals match-up!

It seems that fnatic only wins the matches which would kick them from the tournament XD
DSN took some awesome rounds on nuke, and f0rest is being the man of fnatic, like always.

Yes, me too, but I remember a round, versus... mmm... I think it was k23, that they managed to kill cArn and GeT_RiGhT headshoted 4 of them with an m4a1 spray :O
But yeah, f0rest played well, Gux was amazing, dsn awesome, and cArn did his job. I hope that GeT will be more lucky in the next event :D
