DBL PONEY invited to Elisa Invitational Spring

The team list for the $50,000 tournament is almost complete.

DBL PONEY have been invited to participate in the Elisa Invitational Spring, the tournament organiser announced on Sunday, with seven out of eight teams for the event now confirmed.

The French team, featuring two-time Major champion Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt, will compete against Nordic and international sides such as HAVU, ENCE and Nordavind in what will be their biggest challenge since the squad was assembled in February.

DBL PONEY, who rose to 40th in the world ranking in Monday's update, have qualified for the European Development Championship 3 after beating BEE, BLINK, and NAVI Junior in the closed bracket. They are also slated to compete in the Spring Sweet Spring 1 Regionals against ALTERNATE aTTaX and fellow French sides Ambush and LDLC.

The Elisa Invitational Spring will run between April 15 and 18, with the winning side earning half of the tournament's $50,000 prize purse. With only one team left to reveal, the list of participants currently looks as follows:
