SKADE, DBL PONEY through to Flashpoint 3 closed qualifier

The team list for the next stage is now complete.

SKADE and DBL PONEY secured on Sunday the final two spots in the closed qualifier for Flashpoint 3 after finishing top two in the fourth open bracket. The pair will join six other qualified sides plus eight invited teams in the double-elimination closed qualifier, which will run from April 27-30.

DBL PONEY were first to qualify after beating fellow French sides Ambush, TheDice and LDLC in the final rounds of the bracket, with Aurélien "⁠afro⁠" Drapier proving crucial in the 2-1 victory against his former team (1.41 rating on Nuke and 2.13 on Dust2). Alexandre "⁠bodyy⁠" Pianaro's side reach the closed bracket on their second attempt after losing to Anonymo in the final round of the previous qualifier.

NBK's DBL PONEY move on to the Flashpoint 3 closed qualifier

SKADE, one of the most improved sides in Europe in the last couple of months, bounced back from the opening qualifier heartbreak with a clean run that culminated in 2-0 victories over DenDD and GamerLegion. The Bulgarian team have a hectic week coming up as they will also make appearances in four other tournaments, including Spring Sweet Spring 1 and the closed qualifier for IEM Summer.

SKADE's qualification means that SAW are the only European team inside the top 30 that will not play in Flashpoint 3 or the closed qualifier. The following 16 sides will compete for five spots in the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournament:

Yes, coL is the only t1 team, mouz is borderline but not truly t1 with this roster The rest like DIG and HAVU are effectively just t2 gatekeepers Depends on how the matches shape up, if coL v mouz ends as one of the first then its more likely 1 of the favourites may be eliminated

nearly 1 week ago. imorr apparently went down mentally and he needs to rest. The team did not improved at all and this is a factor aswell according to his own words. We don't know if he comeback or not but seems like he does not want to comeback. He will rest at least 1-2 month

He said "definitely not" about valorant but who knows.. If he get big offers, he can go because TR CS is so bad right now. Except Sangal, we don't have Turkish team and getting an offer from international squad is pretty hard nowadays

I see, ideally calyx and woxic going to sangal would make a decent roster for him, but I guess these 2 players are used to get great salaries from international rosters and don't want to go to sangal and grind.

Yeah he would like to play with woxic and Calyx. They are great friends. Apart from salaries, this roster(hardstyle, ngiN, MAJ3R, paz) has been together for so long time(I think since 2016) and they have good relationship so they don't wanna break up even if they do bad. Maybe Calyx and woxic would cost too much but we have xfloud as well yet they did not take him, he would be a great fit and he is good player.

With or without him.... No chance for Sangal... and even if you are turk and fan of Sangal... you pretty much know it ;)

5 teams to qualify through it , right ? My predictions : Mouz, Complexity, Havu, Digtinas. 5th is hard to predict tbh. ENCE, Movistar, Endpoiint and Sake , all can make it through imo given how they perform.

SKADE is insane rn., they are in my TOP 15 teams atm. They will make it to the main tournament imo. DBL PONEY is also looking great, TOP 30 team for me, and I feel like they are going to qualify aswell.
