Six teams remain in the competition at DreamHack Masters Spring, which continues on Friday, May 7th, with the quarter-final matchups. As the restart of the action is imminent, users are free to select their five-man squads and join Fantasy leagues.

Bubzkji's $179,000 price tag makes him hard to overlook

With only five matches left to be played in the single-elimination bracket, selecting between members of Gambit, HEROIC, Astralis, Natus Vincere, G2, and FURIA will be no easy task.

Players of both Danish teams come at affordable prices, with Lucas "⁠Bubzkji⁠" Andersen at $179,000 (and a 1.13 rating in the group stage) perhaps the best pick budget-wise. A couple of cheap players could come in handy for those looking to allocate funds for the tournament's big hitters, namely Dmitry "⁠sh1ro⁠" Sokolov ($238,000) and Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev ($246,000).

The prizes for the official HLTV x BitSkins Fantasy league are as follows:

The winners of the official Fantasy leagues will be contacted via the email provided in their HLTV profile, and are required to respond to the email within a month to be eligible to receive their prizes.

Because fantasy is broken. It's not even anymore about which players you pick, but rather which teams you pick the players from. That basically makes most of the players unpickable from the start, even if you think that they are going to do well

From a very large pool of experience, this is plain wrong. It's not just the teams, it's the roles, boosters, upsets, et cetera. And even if that somehow isn't the case because you say so, why are you whining here? Don't play fantasy and don't complain.

Just look at all the winning teams in fantasy, it's almost always 4 players from the 2 final teams because the team points are inflated. People aren't picking interz because they think that he is going to perform amazingly. If you truly had a "very large pool of experience", I shouldn't need to tell you that. And what's wrong with critizising the format? Saying "just don't play then lol" doesn't solve anyhting. The optimal strategy going into fantasy is seeing which teams are going to do the best and picking players from those teams. But shouldn't fantasy be about individuals?

It all depends on what fantasy you are playing and in what format. A 2-1-1-1 format works in the DH Masters as there are less matches, the same in SSS Swiss stage. A 2-2-1 format indeed is looking at the teams you think are going to win, then figuring out the money usage, roles and boosters. That's simply how this type of fantasy works. I would send an HLTV mod a message if you want changes to be seen. I'm in an HLTV fantasy server and nobody ever complained.
