StarLadder to host next CIS Regional Major Ranking tournament

The main part of the tournament will be held online from June 27-July 4 and boast a $100,000 prizepool.

StarLadder has announced that it will host the next tournament counting towards the Regional Major Ranking in the CIS region. The competition will kick off with open qualifiers at the beginning of June, less than a week following the end of EPIC League CIS, the first tournament in the circuit, and conclude with the main portion in late June-early July.

As a Regional Major Ranking event, the tournament will help determine five teams advancing to the $2 million PGL Major Stockholm, which is slated to run from October 23-November 7. One more RMR competition is expected to be held on LAN before that to round out the qualifying process.

StarLadder returns following a long hiatus

StarLadder has already opened registration for the two open qualifiers, which will be played on FACEIT's platform on June 5-7 and 12-14 and offer two spots each in the GSL closed stage, set to take place on June 18-21.

The main event will feature a round-robin group stage, from which four teams will advance to the playoffs. A total of nine teams will be invited, presumably based on the RMR standings after the conclusion of the ongoing EPIC League, with four entering the competition in the closed qualifier and five receiving a direct invitation to the main event.

The schedule of the StarLadder CIS RMR look as follows:

June 5-7 — Open qualifier #1
June 12-14 — Open qualifier #2
June 18-21 — GSL Closed qualifier
June 27-July 1 — Round-robin group stage
July 2-4 — Playoffs

Idk what to say, the people they got to cast, the fact that the production is so bad, the fact that they didn't even care enough to put at least a HUD to not see the player profiles and shit, I think compared to the Weplay clutch island RMR this one is very bad.
