DreamHack Portugal hits brackets

The Portuguese DreamHack qualifier has reached the knock-out stage, with eight teams left in contention.

After two days entirely dedicated to group play, the Portuguese qualifier for this year's DreamHack Winter edition has moved on the playoffs, where eight teams will be playing it out for a berth to Jönköping.

The main favourite to win the qualifier, k1ck, have had a relatively easy route so far, winning all of their games, including a 16-1 defeat of reDawn, who are composed of very experienced players but could not make it past their group.

exotic are also strong contenders, and they moved past every opponent they came across in the group stage fairly easy, but their first real test will only be presented now as they tackle Ruination.
