Pinnacle Cup II to feature $100,000 prize pool; Entropiq, MIBR among invitees
The Pinnacle Cup returns for its second edition in June-July with a top-heavy cash prize distribution.
Relog Media will be in charge of producing the $100,000 Pinnacle Cup II, scheduled to take place between June 28 and July 16, the organizer announced on Friday.
The format of the tournament remains unchanged from the first edition, won by Gambit in March. A group stage will lead teams into a Swiss stage, from where only the best advance to the playoffs - with different squads invited to each stage. The eventual tournament winner will take home a massive slice of the pie, $80,000.

Breaking down the flow of the event, a total of 16 teams are invited to the group stage, including Young Ninjas, NAVI Junior, and Spirit Academy. The four best will advance further, joining 12 invited squads such as ENCE and Fiend in the Swiss stage. The top eight move on to the playoffs, where four more squads will join directly in the quarter-finals.
