djL leaves Copenhagen Flames
The Danish team will search for a new head coach over the player break.
Daniel "djL" Narancic has parted ways with Copenhagen Flames after five months with the Danish organisation in order to seek new opportunities, it was announced on Thursday. The 27-year-old took up permanent coaching duties at the beginning of February and led the team to a peak 26th place in the world rankings.
The Swedish tactician's most notable result in charge of the Danish team came in BLAST Rising 2021, where his squad won the event five days after restructuring their roster with the additions of Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen and Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss.

Copenhagen Flames' Head of Esports, Daniel Vorborg, revealed on social media that he has temporarily taken up coaching duties in djL's absence and will continue to fill the vacant position until the player break on July 19, when the organisation will begin their search for a permanent replacement.
HooXi & co. lost their first match in Pinnacle Cup II — a 2-0 defeat against Endpoint —, but will hope to go out with a bang at the $100,000 event to round out their season before heading into the player break.
Copenhagen Flames now have:
Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen
Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi
Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen
Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss
