Wizards pick up myw

Team Wizards have announced their new Counter-Strike roster in the shape of the meet your world team.

The Spanish team announced in October their return to Counter-Strike affairs after more than two years of inactivity with a very interesting roster, containing former members of teams like x6tence and k1ck.

Along with the announcement of the team, myw noted they were on the lookout for an organisation that could provide them with financial support for the upcoming LAN events in the country.

myw have now confirmed they have decided to link up with Team Wizards, who had been without a Counter-Strike division for quite some time.

"When we created myw we know we would not have any kind of support, so we were waiting for someone to present an offer."  José Luis "Kulty" Canto Tortosa told HLTV.org. "Then the Wizards' manager spoke with us and we decided to join them.

"Wizards are an organisation who will provide us with the opportunity to play in the EPS and also with server support and some cash to attend LAN's, I know Wizards are one of the best options for us because I was already there and their crew work very well."

Meanwhile, Wizards have confirmed they have added former x6tence man Alberto "neptuNo" Molinillo, who will fill Francisco "Tapion" Garcia's boots.

"We have added neptuno because when he left x6tence we knew he would be the best player to replace tapion, who has left the team because of practice problems, he could not be here when we wanted to practice," Canto Tortosa added.

Team Wizards have now:

Spain Daniel "furby" Frías Luna
Spain Yzan "rai" Lucas
Spain José Luis "Kulty" Canto Tortosa
Spain Eduardo "msk" Sánchez González
Spain Alberto "neptuNo" Molinillo

Neptuno was playing actually for x6tence, not for LedPC. Neptuno left x6 and rivera returns.

You should reckon that actually neptuNo raised his name when he was under MusambaN1's leadership at LedPC before going to x6 with GuMmY. I wanted to say that neptuNo was a popular name because someone said he doesn't know the players :) 29.03.09 19:09h Ledpc e-Sports Club leave_member GuMmY 29.03.09 19:10h Ledpc e-Sports Club leave_member NepTuNo 23.04.09 15:53h x6tence e-Sports Club CS new_member GuMmY 23.04.09 15:59h x6tence e-Sports Club CS new_member NepTuNo

furby and neptuno both played for ledpc and x6tence, kulty, for unibet, rai for nextlevel and kick, they are great players and i think they can beat ledpc or x6tence. Just see if they doesnt start with rosters changes every month...

Yes but your point was that he can't have much since he writes posts every 10 seconds, MAYBE WRITING POSTS IS HIS SPARETIME? THEN HE HAS A LOT! Did you, btw, even read what I wrote?

It's deserved a league between top4 spain, top 4 France and top4 Portugal, like the "ESL Balkan". This will improve the level of these teams a lot.

Good idea! They should have like a Super Cup of EPS between the top4 of each country.. :) Now I don't know if Portugal has their own EPS, but it's just an idea.. :)

No, they haven't. Anyway, yes, it would be nice, but I don't think the ESL guys will do it.

+1 I think Unibet is better than Wizards, they did well at GG with good matches, like a win vs Alternate. But Wizards new line-up looks strong (in Spain). gL to them!

I'd say you have to rank Unibet as 3rd right now, we'll see if Wizards can pass them, but since we haven't seen them that much it's quite unfair ranking them ahead of Unibet who has actually done well.
