The former North veteran will take up in-game leadership in the new team.

AGF have announced core changes to the squad, revealing the additions of René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg, Magnus "⁠Nodios⁠" Olsen, and Kristoffer "⁠Kristou⁠" Aamand. Thomas "⁠Ryxxo⁠" Nielsen and Martin "⁠PERCY⁠" Wessel have been moved to the organization's bench, while Lucas "⁠Lukki⁠" Pilheden has taken medical leave.

The organization cited lackluster results and underperformance in the first half of 2021, during which their only results of note were a runner-up finish in the Elisa Nordic Championship Denmark in March and a top-five placing at the Elisa Invitational Summer Regionals tournament.

cajunb will take over the reins in AGF

cajunb will headline the new roster in the new season after assisting AGF as a replacement for Lukki for the past few months. He will fulfill a new role, taking over the reins as the in-game leader moving forward. Before joining AGF in an unofficial capacity back in May, the 31-year-old was previously part of North, who disbanded in February as a result of the organization's decision to cease operations.

Under the new banner, the veteran will reunite with Kristou, alongside whom he played in North on and off in the latter half of 2020. The 19-year-old has returned to AGF after he was last seen playing in a couple of tournaments with Lyngby Vikings while the team was on the search for new players.

Nodios joins AGF from Copenhagen Flames, where he had been sitting on the sidelines since May following his decision to step down from the roster due to ill-fitting roles.

The new AGF lineup is:

The Danish organization has also announced changes to the academy squad, which saw Kenni "⁠wezx⁠" Holmberg step down to become one of the team's coaches and Emil "⁠mad0⁠" Funke Nielsen replace him in the active lineup.

Didn't expect ryxxo to get kicked, he is so good and underrated. And honoestly cajunb is one of the best aimers in the game of course you need him to take your game to the next level. But cajunb and ryxxo on same team would had been sexy.

cajunb is a good signing, he was playing well on North in the last couple of months, and now he becomes the IGL, which I think is a good move considering that he has got a lot of experience and he is 31. Nodios is just an insane player, I think he will do great as this type of anchor player. Kristou is also pretty good, although he was inactive for a long time so I'm not really sure how will he perform now, but I think it's a good signing. Cabbi has also been playing pretty well, fr0slev has been really consistent through all those hard times in AGF, honestly I think they have a great lineup that can really make some damage. GJ AGF.
