mTw-fnatic final denied after FG win

Fnatic and mTw will not have the chance to contest together the 2009 WCG Grand Final...

Both mTw and fnatic had been highly favoured to reach the last stage of the WCG's Counter-Strike competition following a group draw which would put them at different ends of the bracket tree were they to finish on top of their respective groups.

However, the community's hopes for such dream final are now dead in the water after fnatic suffered a 17-13 defeat to FireGamers, which moved them down to second in Group B.

As such, fnatic and mTw have been placed on the same side of the bracket, which means they can only face each other in the semi-finals, should they win their next two matches, of course.

In the Round of 16 fnatic will take on the winner of Group E, which contains the likes of k23 and esq.wind, while mTw will cross swords with the runner-up of Evil Geniuses' and HellRaisers' Group H.

LOL,there is no weak team after group games,every single 1 of them can win,some are stronger and some are not,fnatic seems is not in a good shape right now.So is wNv.I think mTw,Tyloo,H2K,Again and [M] are really rolling right now.Hopefully fnatic will wake up later on.Real test is coming.Mousesports change their starter,so its gonna be hard for them to play again others.
