Introducing Fantasy game Fall Season with $10,000 on offer

Fantasy players will earn points for each game played, with the winner of the season awarded $10,000 at the end of the year.

HLTV.org introduces a new seasonal format to the popular Fantasy game and announces the Fall Season, which is set to run from August-December and award $10,000 to the winner of the seasonal standings.

Kicking off with the first two groups of the upcoming 14th season of ESL Pro League, participants of every Fantasy game will earn points counting towards the seasonal standings. You are guaranteed to earn points every time you finish at least in the top 70% of all players in a given game, and you can claim up to 25 points if you place among the top 1%.

At the end of the season in December, the player with the largest sum of points in the seasonal standings will be awarded the main prize.

Below is a list of the number of points participants will earn based on their final placement in each official HLTV.org Fantasy league:

Top 1% - 25 points
Top 3% - 18 points
Top 5% - 15 points
Top 10% - 12 points
Top 15% - 10 points
Top 25% - 8 points
Top 40% - 6 points
Top 50% - 4 points
Top 60% - 2 points
Top 70% - 1 point

Along with the new season, we have introduced a few other smaller updates to the Fantasy game. The premise remains the same, but from now on you will only be able to assign boosters to specific matchups instead of rounds.

With a new feature called the "Power view," you will now be able to make better-informed choices when assigning boosters and roles, as you will be able to see how often each of the options triggers.

The Fall Season is about to begin, and we have already launched the first Fantasy game for Groups A and B of ESL Pro League Season 14, featuring teams such as HEROIC, Vitality, G2, and Virtus.pro. Groups C and D will follow later on, along with another Fantasy league for the European Development Championship 5.
