New dates announced for IEM Fall NA and DreamHack Open NA qualifiers

The new dates will help to prevent clashes with Fragadelphia 15.

ESL and DreamHack have announced new dates for qualifiers for their September events. IEM Fall North America open qualifiers have been moved to September 7-8, while the closed qualifiers for DreamHack Open September have been shifted to September 14-17.

Additionally, the Australia & New Zealand open qualifiers for the DreamHack event have been compacted to a single day rather than two. Dates for the North American open qualifiers have not been altered.

These changes were enacted to enable North American teams to attend the qualifiers for DreamHack and the IEM RMR event without having to forfeit their spot in the Fragadelphia event or vice versa.

DreamHack Open September will take place September 22-26

The new dates for the DreamHack qualifiers would still result in a clash with Fragadelphia's BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Qualifier on September 14 and 15. Due to the clash, the North American event organizers have stated their intention to provide playing space for teams participating in both competitions.

ESL have stated that they are coordinating with Fragadelphia in order to prevent further overlaps.

The biggest sponsors are from NA, NA brings money in general, and viewership.

NA people will typically watch NA teams. Don’t know why but I’m kind of like that or will watch games that interest me. People in NA play CS, ask anyone who plays the game from NA, you get quicker queue times in CS than Valorant most of the time. I mean the average rank in Valorant is bronze/silver and I’m diamond so maybe that’s why. Valorant has a lot of people who play the game like over half of them who came from other games like league, apex, fortnite. They aren’t from CS.
