Fantasy game for IEM Fall North America goes live

The Fantasy will cover the whole event, groups and playoffs included, and have valuable prizes provided by BitSkins.

The last IEM Fall tournament to feature a Fantasy game, the one for North America, kicks off on October 5 and lasts five days. With the game open for action, users are free to select their five-man lineups and compete for skins and the $10,000 season prize.

EG players could provide great value for money in Fantasy

Liquid are back from their European trip and are clear favorites to do well at the event. Alongside that, they have affordable players compared to other teams that were competing exclusively in NA. Michael "⁠Grim⁠" Wince ($197,000) and Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo ($201,000) are the more affordable options, while Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski for just $218,000 could entice many players.

FURIA with André "⁠drop⁠" Abreu are a bit harder to gauge, but Kaike "⁠KSCERATO⁠" Cerato ($227,000) seems to be a safe pick considering his recent form, albeit an expensive one. The prices of Josh "⁠oSee⁠" Ohm ($241,000), Rafael "⁠saffee⁠" Costa ($240,000) and João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos ($234,000) rule out such players for most users, unless they combine them with more budget-friendly options.

Members of Evil Geniuses have the biggest potential to overperform for their value, having finally come back to their full lineup for the Regional Major Ranking event. Michał "⁠MICHU⁠" Müller ($184,000) and Tsvetelin "⁠CeRq⁠" Dimitrov ($174,000) are risks worth taking to bring in a big hitter on the lineup.

The IEM Fall 2021 North America Fantasy HLTV x BitSkins league offers the following prizes for the event:

Participants of the Fantasy game are required to abide by the Fantasy ruleset if they want to win the available prizes. Winners of the official HLTV x BitSkins league will be contacted via the email provided in their HLTV account and must reply within one month to be eligible to receive any prize.
