MAD Lions part ways with tudsoN

The Spanish organization has announced the release of the 21-year old from his contract.

Filip "⁠tudsoN⁠" Tudev has left MAD Lions after being part of the organization since March 2021, when the organization signed a new European roster.

MAD Lions had been operating with as a six-man roster since its formation, with tudsoN and Volodymyr "⁠Woro2k⁠" Veletniuk competing for the AWPer spot in the team. However, the young Pole has only played for the team sporadically since August, most recently taking the back seat in the team's campaign at IEM Fall Europe.

tudsoN was a part of the MAD Lions roster for almost six months

"I took a challenge and was really determined to prove myself and be in the main roster, and I know I did my best to prove my abilities. But sometimes life is brutal," explained tudsoN on Twitter.

When talking about the team's decision to install Woro2k as the starting player he stated: "I got the option to be the 6th guy... I had a chance to look at the game at a different perspective which I believe made me a better person and a player."

This. Younger players like tudson often have to learn a whole shitload about higher level cs when they first get into it, as it's a completely different game compared to being a pug star. If a team like mouz does pick him up I wouldn't be surprised if he continues to be uninspiring, but as with all raw aiming talents I doubt doubt he has it in him to do well if given the chance.
