PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Challengers StageSpirit defeat GODSENT; Astralis collapse against Entropiq in Stockholm
The Brazilians and Danes failed to secure their first win at the PGL Major.
Entropiq earned their first victory in the Challenger Stage after defeating Astralis 16-6 on Dust2 and thus relegating the reigning Major champions to the 0-2 pool.
Meanwhile, Spirit took down GODSENT 16-12 on Nuke following a rough loss against FaZe earlier in the day and are now elevated to the 1-1 pool. The Brazilians were the second team to go 0-2 and will now fight for their tournament survival in the upcoming BO3 elimination matches alongside Astralis.
Spirit gave us a great Nuke CT half on the main stream. The CIS squad quickly took the lead after winning the first pistol round and kept the GODSENT economy in check by consistently denying bomb plants. Nikolay "mir" Bityukov gave the Brazilians a hard time on yard but some creative calling by Epitacio "TACO" de Melo allowed his team to claim a couple crucial rounds to limit the halftime deficit to 5-10.
TACO's men pulled a clutch win on the second pistol that allowed them to briefly reduce Spirit's advantage and keep the game alive. The Brazilians, however, failed to stabilize their CT side and Spirit was able to close the game 16-12.

Meanwhile on the secondary stream, Astralis suffered their second upset of the day against Entropiq on Dust2. The Danes failed to get going in the first half, conceding a leaky CT side with very few redeeming moments. Viktor "Lack1" Boldyrev played a great offensive side, ending with a 17-10 K-D and a 1.47 rating.
Astralis did not fare better on the offense as they only took one round before Entropiq swiftly closed the map 16-6.
