H2k & compLexity to Arbalet Europe

Arbalet Cup has revealed the final two participants for the Europe event, taking place next week in Stockholm, Sweden.

The two last teams to participate in the first ever, Arbalet Cup Europe event has been found. H2k Gaming from Sweden and compLexity from USA will be finishing off the sixteen teams invite list. As compLexity was already in Sweden for DreamHack Winter, it seemed out of the question not to invite them. This means that the participants list for Arbalet Cup Europe looks as follows:

Invited teams

Sweden SK Gaming
Sweden fnatic
Sweden H2k Gaming
Sweden MYM
Denmark mTw
Poland AGAiN
Germany Alternate
Spain Ledpc
United States Evil Geniuses
United States compLexity
Korea WeMade FOX
Russia UNiTED
Ukraine KerchNET
Ukraine HellRaisers
Russia EYESports
Russia tp.uSports

The organizers have further opted the prize purse by $12,000, from $25,000 to $37,000. The prizes will be distributed as follows:

Prize distribution

1. $15,000
2. $10,000
3. $5,000
4. $2,000

The sixteen teams will be split in two groups, where four teams will advance to the playoffs. The playoffs will be played in a best-of-one map double-elimination bracket.

Arbalet Cup Europe will furthermore feature an All-Star Cup, consisting of four teams in a best-of-three single-elimination bracket. Lineups for the All-Star matches will be announced on the 1st of December. A total of $5,000 will be up for grabs, with prizes being distributed as follows:

It is a shame, that Arbalet still has no official website and it was impossible to get any information about what was going on in Vp and k23. I think that it was bad management by Konstantin P., which lead to Vp and k23 collapse.

The sixteen teams will be split in two groups, where four teams will advance to the playoffs. The playoffs will be played in a best-of-one map double-elimination bracket. but the schedule says GROUP A,B,C,D so how many groups? this is stupid, a lot of good teams won't even be in the playoffs
