Dmitry "⁠sh1ro⁠" Sokolov started the year with a resounding MVP — watch his highlights from the tournament in our latest fragmovie.

sh1ro's outstanding form at Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals ensured Gambit would live up to the favorites tag at the first tournament of the year. The Russian sniper averaged an impressive 1.43 rating and didn't record a single below-average rated match throughout the competition on the way to the title and his fourth MVP by HLTV x BitSkins.

After placing fourth in HLTV.org's Top20 players of 2021 ranking, sh1ro went on to say that he will prove that he can "achieve higher and more stable results". Despite the competition at the event not being of the highest caliber, he did as well as he could at Funspark, topping eight statistical categories including KPR, DPR, and 1+ kill rounds. Interestingly, he also posted a whopping 1.41 Impact rating, only trailing ECSTATIC's Dion "⁠FASHR⁠" Derksen (1.54) in the category.
