xfl0ud to miss weeks of action as Eternal Fire call up academy member colorzz

A broken arm sees Yasin "⁠xfl0ud⁠" Koç go on medical leave for at least several weeks.

Eternal Fire have announced that they have called up 17-year-old Enes "⁠colorzz⁠" Yıldıran from the Eternal Fire Academy roster to stand in for xfl0ud, who has suffered an injury that will see him out of action.

The 19-year-old broke his humerus on Friday, which has forced the Turkish side to look for a replacement for the foreseeable future as they await xfl0ud's recovery. According to the team, his arm is expected to heal without any complications, but he will be sidelined for at least the next two to three weeks.

The team previously used Emre "⁠duggy⁠" Oktay from their junior squad as a substitute when Buğra "⁠Calyx⁠" Arkın was briefly benched in late January for personal reasons, but this time the main team have decided to give colorzz a chance in their attempt to search for the right temporary fit.

The injury comes as a blow to Eternal Fire, who have been consistently climbing through the ranks ever since they brought in xfl0ud, replacing Issa "⁠ISSAA⁠" Murad after the Jordanian player found it difficult to adapt to life in the Turkish team. Last week they peaked in 20th place of the HLTV.org ranking after a great start in Elisa Invitational Winter, which saw them advance to the next stage with a 3-0 record in the Swiss group with wins over Lynn Vision, Looking For Org, and Sprout.

Eternal Fire will use the following lineup for now:
