IEM Katowice Play-In bracket set

The first matches of the 16-team double-elimination bracket have been revealed by the tournament organizer.

IEM Katowice will return to LAN on February 15 for the first time since 2020, as the 2021 edition had to be moved online, and will start with a 16-team Play-In featuring the likes of Ninjas in Pyjamas, Astralis and fnatic.

The double-elimination bracket will be played out over two days with two rounds of upper bracket play, which will see four teams go through, and two more rounds of play in the lower bracket, where the remaining four survivors will punch tickets to the main event at the Spodek Arena.

The opening round will feature the only best-of-ones in the play-in before best-of-three series take over in deciding matches to qualify or be eliminated from the event.

The first round of bracket play, kicking off on three simultaneous streams on February 15 at 11:00 , will feature the following opening matches:
