nexa on joining OG: "I could instantly see the players were way, way better than what their results showed"
In the last interview from day one of the IEM Katowice Play-in, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković discusses his move from G2 to OG and explains the reasons behind the team's early success.
In one of the standout roster changes of the winter off-season, nexa and Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen swapped places between G2 and OG, in a move that saw the Serbian in-game leader switch teams for the first time since he joined the former organization in late 2019.
Since the move, OG have enjoyed a successful month so far, remaining undefeated with the new lineup following a convincing run through the BLAST Premier Spring Groups and the IEM Katowice Play-in, where they beat Renegades in overtime and ENCE in a straightforward series.
After nexa and company made it to the Katowice group stage, we managed to get a hold of the in-game leader and asked him about his big move, what he thinks he brings to the table that the team didn't have before, and his commitment to the craft of a leader.
The Serbian categorically denied rumors claiming that Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså was originally meant to be at the helm of the team before he went on to talk about OG's success thus far, citing the depth of the individual talent and a looser style as some of the main reasons.
