Entropiq bounce back with victory over Looking For Org

The Australians go back to the drawing board after a 0-3 start in Group A.

Entropiq secured their second victory at ESL Pro League Season 15 after sweeping Looking For Org 2-0. The Russians successfully recovered after suffering a sweep of their own against Ninjas in Pyjamas on the previous day, and are now set to face G2, a crucial match if they are to make it to the next stage of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the losing side will require something close to a miracle to advance to the playoffs, needing to go flawless for the rest of the group and other results to go their way as well. A difficult task as they are set to face Ninjas in Pyjamas and MOUZ in the following days.

El1an played a great series

It was a Dust2 to forget for the Australians as everything fell apart after their initial success in the opening pistol and the following conversion. As soon as Entropiq brought out the rifles, Looking For Org were unable to make any advances on the T side, failing to take a single round until the very end, ending their offensive half with a 3-12 deficit. Aleksei "El1an" Gusev led the way in terms of firepower for the CIS squad, but everyone on the team was cracking during their 12-round winning streak. Looking For Org could only delay the inevitable after converting the second pistol, only claiming four more rounds before conceding their map pick to Entropiq 7-16.

Moving into Ancient, the match quickly devolved into a back-and-forth affair after an initial 5-2 start for the Oceanic squad, with both teams exchanging force buys as the Deagles kept finding success. Benson "Liki" Niuila and Euan "sterling" Moore played a solid defensive half, helping Looking For Org maintain their lead and end it ahead 9-6. After switching to the defensive side, Entropiq really established themselves in the game, taking their first pistol round of the series and quickly taking the lead. The Russians went flawless in their CT half, closing the map 16-9 with El1an at the top of the scoreboard.

why do I think that any eu 4k elo mix would win 8 out of 10 games versus them?

Bit harsh considering they're putting up pretty decent fights against top 15 teams. Putting up 10 rounds against 3rd in the world is really good considering last season we had bnb who only got 10 rounds in 2/10 maps, and didn't even win either of them. Considering it's the first time playing in eu for I think 4/5 of them they're doing really well imo.

sterling has played on EU Lans twice before, ap0c and hazr once afaik But it was the two Asia Minors in 2019, so against more or less domestic/regional competition

Sterling is the only player I can think of with eu experience. Ap0c has a lot of na and asia experience under his belt, and I'm not 100% certain about hazr. Liki and SaVage definitely haven't

sterling was with the old Grayhound roster at the first Asia Minor in 2019 (Katowice), he was grats successor on the roster afaik, who had just been transferred to Renegades At the second Asia Minor of 2019 (Berlin), he was already under the AVANT banner, together with ap0c and hazr But as I said, those matchups were obviously only against regional competition as well, nowhere near the level of the teams they have to play now

LFO and their players are always so positive about their games on twitter, even if it's a loss. They're focusing on learning and improving and playing decently without their coach.

They can't really expect much more, even tho three of their players have international LAN experience (the former AVANT core), it's mainly from the Asia Minor in 2019, not much else. ap0c will probably not stick around forever, given his age, meaning they'll probably lose a huge chunk of their experience pretty soon. Gotta take it as a learning experience.
