Tipsport Bratislava Cup LAN set to start with ~$45,000 in prizes

The LAN event in Slovakia will feature the likes of Apeks and SINNERS.

The group stage of the Tipsport Bratislava Cup begins on Wednesday, March 30, featuring eight teams battling it out across five days of play for the lion's share of a ~$45,000 prize pool.

The group stage will feature a GSL format, with the opening games being best-of-one followed by best-of-threes. The top two from each group then progress to a single elimination best-of-three playoff bracket, which includes a third place decider.

SINNERS will be hoping to recapture their best form from 2021

The headline names in attendance are Apeks and SINNERS, but exciting teams from the lower echelons of the European scene are also making appearances, including the likes of Enterprise and eSuba, who made waves at the 2021 edition of V4 Future Sports Festival.

The event kicks off on Wednesday March 30 at 14:30 , with Enterprise taking on Entropiq Prague followed by Apeks vs. ECLOT. The action will be broadcast live on the PLAYzoneTV Twitch channel.

ESL Pro League is event IN Germany and during other seasons it was in other countries. ESL Masterschaft or how is it is in Germany and its only german teams because its german event. This is actually in Slovakia but since we have same scene and right now there are no only slovak teams so just czech teams (or mostly czech) qualified.

It's meant to promote CZ/SK teams. It's funded by Czech betting site, there would be no point giving the prize money to foreign teams

All tournaments are funded by gambling sites xD. They should open these events to foreign teams much more. Regionally locked events are stupid especially with this prize money, mčr will be biggest regionaly locked event of all time, kinda embarasing tbh. At least half esea advanced teams would beat all cz/sk teams except sinners. Getting them play offline against better teams is only way to improve them and our scene. And gambling patients dont give a fuck on who they are betting on. These tournaments are pretty disappointing after they were promising "revolution".

Sinners dont have form now. They are not doing worse than they were doing at the end with oskar. They beat solid teams in past 3 months, finished first in RMR quali. They lost some matches they should have won for sure, but you cant convince me they are doing worse than they did last few months with oskar. Ive seen all voice comms, nothing there made forsyy look egoistic or toxic. Mby his comms could be cleaner, but thats all there is. Oskar pulled similar rating like forsyy does now, mby slightly better. Plus Sinners squad looks happy with forsyy, they look like friends already and that was never really there with oskar I would say. Also the caliber of teams they go against isnt the same when they started with oskar. So again 0/8
