Looking For Org replace Lynn Vision at Asia RMR

The Australian squad came in as a last-minute replacement after Lynn Vision encountered visa issues.

PGL has revealed that Looking For Org will compete in the Asian Regional Major Ranking tournament as a replacement for Lynn Vision, who withdrew from the event due to being unable to sort out visas during their long-term stay in Europe.

The Australian squad around Mike "ap0c" Aliferis came in as the team fourth in line from the Middle East qualifier, where Lynn Vision earned their spot as the winning team. NASR and Divine Vendetta, who placed second and third in the qualifier, had been contacted as well, but visa issues prevented them from traveling to Romania to take part in the tournament.

LFO extend their European foray

The PGL Major Anterp Asia RMR will take place from April 15-16 and feature TYLOO, Renegades, IHC, and Looking For Org, who will be fighting for two Contender spots in the first stage of the Belgian Major.

A double-elimination bracket will determine the two teams who will advance to the Antwerp event taking place on May 9-22.

are LFO likely to go through now?

Apart from maybe Renegades I couldn't say anyone is "likely" to go through here. Since these teams are all having EU prac before this event it just depends on who makes the most of it, the only pro LFO have is that they had Pro League and maybe thats enough to put them over the Asian teams.

It's so interesting because different regions and tiers around the world play different types of CS. Like you see in Brazil they play quit Aggressive and in EU they play quite patient calculated CS. Often you see EU teams struggle against the International teams because it's nothing they play against regularly.

SaVage just posted on twitter a photo of himself and his Dad at the airport. Can confirm SaVage will be attending, can't say for Liki.

Yeah just saw that as well, might've just been a big bait but hopefully all 5 can attend, AZR taking Liki's place would make sense if Liki can't attend :)

Well NASR and Divine Vendetta also couldn't make it due to visa issues. But it's true that the asian region qualifier are always mismanaged and overlooked.

LFO has consistently shit on Paradox when they were in Aus last year. Don't imagine Steel Helmet would fare any better either, Rare Atom would be the only one I would think would put up some sort of a fight. But the fact of the matter is that under Valve's rules, each sub region qualifier has a representative at the qualifier, and LFO were the highest at the Middle East one that can actually make it.
